Although the facility looked nice and the staff was polite it was of 85 minutes for us. My son looked llike he might be getting pink eye so we took him to CHI only cause it was close to base and my spouse could meet me there. We normally go to one a different one in La vista. We go in and there is a handful of people waiting. I asked how long the wait is and they respond there is three people a head of me to register. After I register, they will take me back. This is a horrible way of doing things. You have to literally wait till you are called on to go up and talk to someone while they enter all your information into the system. Most places you fill out a form, give it to the front desk and they enter in their system while you wait. So I watched four people register infront of me. We finally register after 30 minutes and at this time we start seeing the room get busier. After registering we wait....and wait... we see all four people that registered go in..... still waiting....now we see other walking ins going in. Granted they do allow appointments so I am not discourged. After 85 minutes I walk up to ask how much longer. The response is I can not give you a time. I can saw there is 3 people a head of you. HOW CAN THERE BE THREE PEOPLE A HEAD WHEN WE ARE OFFICALLY THE LAST MAN STANDING FROM WHEN WE ARRIVED. I called our normal ugent care clinic and they said they had no wait. I kindly asked them to remove us and left. Was seem within 3 minutes of walkin to our clinic. May this clinic is good for appointments, but horrible for URGENT CARE. I have heard its normally a 2 hour or longer wait on an average.
The staff is very kind. The facility is clean and the appointment wait time is never bad. If it is? The nurses know our names and apologize for the wait. I feel welcome here.
2 hour wait with only 3 in front of us...plus the open and close hours are wrong on Google. It says 8 am to 5 pm.
If you want to make an appointment, make sure you have at least 30 minutes to wait on hold to speak to someone. The staff at this location is very rude and condescending. They will not get back to you if you call in with questions, concerns, etc. If you expect excellent medical care, DO NOT go here!!
Only reason I transferred my son to this clinic was to stay with the same doctor he had at his previous location. Some of the nurses/receptionists at this location need to work on their bed side manner as they are the first people one sees and talks to when walking in to the clinic and leaving the clinic is the last face one also sees. So in that case they should be kind and not rude. Not all of them are rude but it is still what makes our experience bad or good at a clinic regardless of the doctor. Some of these receptionist/nurses do not care if it was your first time at the clinic and you want to know how things work there because at the previous clinic it was different. I just hope they can either fix their attitude and have a better personality or at least fake it for your jobs sake. Other than that I have no problem with anything else so for that I will not give this clinic a 5 star rating like I wanted to.
