Unless you are just getting a hair cut only, Cost Cutters will cost you! I went in to get a haircut, highlight, and low light done. Thought I'd give them a shot and maybe save some money. Called ahead to see how much all that would cost. They said 55.00 for highlight, 15.00 for cut, 12.00 for each additional color. They foiled my hair then put another color over the rest of the hair and cut it. It cost 155.00 before the tip!!!! The highlight was actually 65.00 (and she told me it should have been 85.00!), then they charged 80.00 to color the rest!! I usually go to an Aveda salon or Garbo's and have had the same thing done and never in my life have I paid so much to get my hair done! I was shocked! With tip cost me almost 200.00. Normally, I pay 120.00 with tip at other nice salons! My hair length is just passed my sholders so no I do not have really long hair or anything! Save your money and go to a nice, less hectic place to get your hair done!
I've gotten my hair done there a few times and I love it! The girls there are so nice and helpful. I went in for a hair cut the girl who did my hair listened to what I wanted and helped me get a new look, she told me ways I could style it and helped me fined good products that I'm now in love with! The other time I went there I got a color and a wax they did great! I got a different girl and she also did a great job I just love how nice and helpful they all are. The prices weren't all that bad, I mean I've paid more at other places and hated it, I've also paid less and again hated it. But I liked this place nice friendly and right inside walmart. I can get all my shopping done and leave with a new look I love that. I'll defiantly be a repeat costumer!
I had the most horrible experience here. I got a cut and a bleach. I just wanted the dead ends cut off. So Mary cut is and one side of my hair is a good 1 1/2 inch shorter then the other side. When I left, after paying $60 before tip, I thought she had just given me bangs that I did not ask for. But I got home and really looked at it and saw what she had done. So I called corporate and they took all of the information and told me it was going to be 2-3 days before someone would get back to me. So I have to go around for 2-3 DAYS with my hair all jacked up. Needless to say I am pissed!
