Family Fare has made this a great place to shop again! It went way down hill the last few years of it being No Frills. It was to the point where even though my in-laws live literally 3 blocks from there we would drive 10 miles to go to a different store. Family Fare changed that and now we have am even better place to shop! Thank you Family Fare for giving us back a great place to shop that is close! By the way your produce is some of the best in town!!
The self checkouts never work. Took me an hour to get checked out when should have been 10 minutes with 7 items, because it charged my debit card 3 times. Took forever to get the machine shut down and to void entire transaction to get my money back . Even the 2 manager's didn't know what to do when machine wouldn't boot back up so transaction voided. This is 2nd time this has happened, I will never use the self checkouts again. Would highly recommend not to use self checkouts.
As with all visits to Family Fare the quality and helpful service are "always" a plus; The employees all are polite, friendly and eager to serve. Family Fare prices are competitive and the little cards they have on the carts are "really" very helpful as are the clerks. "Thank You" Family Fare!
I shop here regularly because its close and I loathe going to walmart. Prices are marginally higher, and truth be told their deli really needs some attention. Aside from that, its a solid local grocery store. (Not locally owned, just local to me.)
I always shop here because it is very close to my house. The staff is really nice and always willing to help. Prices could be a little lower, but it is worth paying a little extra to me because of the convenience.
