My friend just caught a baby garter snake and needed food for him. I went to Petco to find out what was available. I had one of the nicest customer service ladies wait on me. She took the time to answer all of my questions and even went out of her way to fetch her cellphone from the breakroom to answer my question after I told her that my cellphone wasn't recieving any service. I was so happy about how my visit went I literally left a 15 dollar top for her. I think the prices are worth it if you don't want the trouble of driving around town looking for something pet specific. 100% would return. °UPDATE° My friend decided to rid himself of the responsibilty of caring for a snake. We said our goodbyes last week.
Took our 3 year old golden lab in and she enjoyed shopping and sniffing throughout the store. The employees were very helpful and friendly.

What should have been a quick stop for a flea product turned into the most expensive mistake of my evening. Not only did I have to wait until the store was ready to allow me to choose a flea product from a locked case that, apparently, only one associate could access, I also had the opportunity to meet the rudest person I have seen recently in public. So, I paid twice as much as I should have for the convenience of shopping in a store and having to deal with people. Lesson learned. Next time, I will order it from Amazon, pay nearly half the price, not have to get hassled to buy it, and get free delivery to my door.
The staff here are always friendly and willing to help. They are also quite knowledgeable so you can rest assured when you have questions about animals or your purchases. I highly recommend!
